Welcome to the Weight Loss and Bariatric Institute in Orlando, Florida. We pride ourselves on being one of the most experienced and successful weight loss programs in the area and across the southeastern United States.

Led by Drs. Andre Teixeira and Muhammad Ghanem, we specialize in the treatment of morbid obesity through surgical means. Known as bariatric surgery, these procedures that include gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, duodenal switch, SADI, and various endoscopic solutions are the most effective treatment for obesity and its related diseases. You have probably experienced the ups and downs of diet and exercise-only weight loss plans. Sadly only 5 to 10% of people experience long-term weight loss benefits.

On the other hand, upwards of 90% of our patients experience long-term weight loss and maintenance after having bariatric surgery. While we are proud of our results, we are even more proud of the thousands of patients who have, I guess, lost hundreds of thousands of pounds and consider us a part of their extended family.
